Polish Description
In the update, I updated the function of withdrawing. In the previous game, players could not withdraw after placing dominoes, and could only reset them, which was very inconvenient. Now, players can press Z to withdraw the dominoes they placed before. In addition, a red non-placeable area has been added to the level, and players cannot place dominoes on it. I added this area in the hope that players can benefit more from the mechanisms in the map, such as spheres, and experience more fun. In order to make it easier for players to observe the map, the default dominoes in the game are black, and the dominoes placed by players are white. After the dominoes fall, they will also turn white, and they will make sounds to give players feedback.
In terms of visuals, I tried to render some light effects to make the map look more atmospheric and better. I added some simple modeling to render some story sense to the game. I also added appropriate music.
Design Details
Freshness
I tried to use Unity's rendering function for the first time in this game. I tried to bake several lights and adjust the shadows, gradients, fog and other functions. In addition, I also did some modeling and lighting. But I am still studying the lighting, and I will try to match the light source, reflection and material.
Communication
I added a lot of feedback. Now, in addition to the sound of placing dominoes, there is also a sound when dominoes hit each other and fall. And when the dominoes fall, they will all turn white, giving players visual and auditory feedback. In order to make the end point more obvious, I placed particles at the end point.
